Magic Star Table Topper

I designed, and wrote the instructions for this Magic Star Table Topper. And I taught it as a workshop to our Quilt Guild.  Then I updated my instructions, lol. I appreciate the feedback that I received from the workshop participants.

It went well, for the most part.  My workspace was all set up with my camera at the back of the table.  I have a hard time working around the camera, so I thought I was pretty clever. But the camera, from the back of the table, showed EVERYTHING upside down.

A bit confusing, to say the least, until I started demonstrating upside down. (I’ve ordered a new camera boom to solve that.)

A few of our participants had suggestions on how I could make my instructions clearer, so I’ve spent the last few days editing and refining the pattern.

AND, now it’s ready and available for purchase!  I’m very excited to actually publish my FIRST quilting pattern, even if it is “just a table topper”.  One of my friends is planning to expand it, making more blocks, and turning it into a bed quilt.  I can’t wait to see it.

The price for this Magic Star Table Topper pattern is $8 U.S. funds.  It includes full directions including detailed cutting instructions, as well as a link to my YouTube channel where I’ve uploaded a video of how to create and trim the blocks.

If you have any issues in receiving your pattern (cyber-monkeys at work) please email me at yvettechilcott (at) yahoo (dot) ca for help.
