Paper Piecing Flying Geese

My next Scrap Happy Zoom class is coming together, “Paper Piecing Flying Geese”.  Last month my subject was sewing basic flying geese units; one at a time, two at a time, and my favourite, 4 at a time.

This month’s class is on Sunday November 28th at 10 am Trenton (Toronto) Ontario time.  I’ll be focussing on paper-piecing flying geese this time.  Paper-piecing is my solution to achieving perfect points.  Templates will be included for 3″ x 6″ single geese, 3″ x 6″ three goose chain, and one for a curved set of geese.  It WILL be a bit larger than the one shown below, to make it a bit more user friendly.  Full instructions are always included as well.

The cost for my class is $5 which can be sent by e-transfer or Paypal to my email address.

I take cash, too.  (big grin)

Here’s what I made with the samples from the first Flying Geese class. (Read the post here.)

I’m looking forward to seeing some of you Sunday!

Now it’s back to the sewing room for me.

Today I plan to produce a video for a workshop I’m teaching our quilt guild, “Magic Star Table Topper”.

Then I have my notes to complete for lesson #5 of 6 that I’m teaching via Zoom for Stitch by Stitch Kingston.  We’re making Jalie’s Charlie jacket, fully lined.

Speaking of which, in January I’m scheduled to teach another Jalie pattern Laurent T-shirt/Hoodie.  Now I’m off to my happy place!
