100 Days Wearing Jalie daily

I did it!  100 days, wearing Jalie, daily!

When I first began this personal Instagram challenge I didn’t have a goal for how many days I was going to do this.  I was just dressing one day and realized that I only wear “Me-Mades”, and that most of them are Jalie patterns.  So I just started posting pics on Instagram with short descriptions.  I got my day counts a bit mixed up at the beginning, but got it all organized after a few days.  I had 2 “day 13’s” and missed “day 95”.  Oops.

And I made it to 100 days!  And not once did I have to “make it work”, because other than a couple of old store-bought tee-shirts,  I only have me-mades by Jalie in my wardrobe.

My numbering of each thumbnail went a little screwy, but here’s the gist of it all. In Instagram order.

days one to six of 100 days of me wearing Jalie daily

My most sewn pant pattern is Eleonore by far, it’s in 83 of the 100 days!

My most sewn pullover is Emilie, it in 15 of the 100 days!

My favourite all-round summer (without sleeves) and for cooler weather (with sleeves) is Dolman.

Days 7 to 11 of 100 days of wearing Jalie daily

days 14 to 19 of 100 days of wearing Jalie

days 89 to 94 of 100 days of wearing Jalie

Days 95 to 100, the final 6 days of wearing Jalie daily

Well there you have it, 100 Days of Wearing Jalie, daily!

I love Jalie so much that I’m hosting a Jalie Garment Sewing Retreat here in Trenton Ontario.  (my town)  It’s full, but I am planning another in the Spring of 2023!

What’s YOUR favourite Jalie pattern?  Which one(s) do you sew over and over again?  I’d love to hear about your best, and why!
