Back in the Classroom

I’m Back in the Classroom!

I am sew excited to announce that I’m back in the classroom, sharing my sewing knowledge with others!  It all came to a screeching halt with the coming of Covid!  That was the end of the Creativfestival where I used to do some teaching for Catherine, who owned Distinctive Sewing Supplies (closed now when Catherine retired).  I began freelance teaching after that, and moved to Zoom during Covid.

Last fall I taught a 2-day workshop for That Sewing Place Newmarket, and realized how much I had missed the in-person interaction.

Shortly after that I hosted a 2-day Jalie Sewing Retreat here in Trenton.  We had a great group of Jalie fans, and again, I LOVED it! (We had to cancel day 2 due to the first big snowstorm of the winter.)  (click to read the post.) I have another 2-day Jalie Garment Sewing Retreat scheduled for May 26 and 27, more info to follow in another post.

I’ve been mentoring a group of sewing enthusiasts at our local library for a number of years, and there is something so energizing being in a room of like-minded and excited sewing enthusiasts.
