Sew Fabric Tubes for Colourful Woven Effects

Our local quilt guild, Trent Valley Quilters’ Guild is winding down a block of the month quilt.  Each month we were introduced to an interesting technique and this month we were instructed how to sew fabric tubes for a woven block.

As is my way, as I worked on these, I thought about ways of making them fun, fast and easier.  And took lots of photos.  Then I put together an Instagram Carrousel post that I really liked the look of, so I thought I’d share it with you.

I’m teaching myself new ways of teaching, and am curious what you think of these.

It’s a series of photos with the instructions overlaid.  (please ignore the “slide”.

There, that was a fun way to sew fabric tubes, for me, how about for you?  Let me know, as I work my way into virtual teaching and exploring ways of communicating my lessons.

Watch me on YouTube too!
